About this deal

We would recommend one of our low-profile electric systems or our Total-16 hydronic system if you are retrofitting a heater or if your project has fixed ceiling heights. If you are building a home from the ground up, consider specifying a water system during the design stages of your project to take its dimensions into account. You can alsoenhance the warmth of your bathroom with ourrange of BathroomCollectionproducts, featuring stylish liquid-free towel rails, mirror demisters and wall heating solutions.

Lay the first run. At the end of the run cut the mat leaving the cable intact, turn the mat through 90º or 180º and continue laying. When the area is covered, adjust the mat until the loops are equal distance apart. Now attach the mat to the subfloor using the special tape supplied. Once you’ve got the heated area size, you’llalsoneed toconfirm your bathroom’s sub-floor type (the layer beneath your current flooring) andyour chosen floor finish you’ll be installing the heater with.Underfloor heating systemscan be used with almost all floorfinishes –from carpets to natural stonetiles andlaminate to vinyl. Alternatively, the Foil Heater System offers a completely dry construction that does not require a leveling compound (unless it is to be used underneath a tiled floor finish). Or, if the area is irregularly shaped (not a square or rectangular form), or has multiple permanent fixtures in it (like a bathroom, for instance, with toilets, baths, sinks and more), Warmup’s Loose Wire System is the more suitable solution. Compatible With All Floor Coverings The 200W/m2 variant is best suited for rooms or areas with high heat loss, such as conservatories. It is recommended to carry out a heat-loss calculation to assess the heating requirements of the room, especially if using the underfloor heating system as a primary heat source under tiles in a high heat-loss area. Fast Installation For thisexamplequote,we’ll choose a sub-floor type of concreteand the popular bathroom floor type of vinyl.

41.3 W/m² - 82.5W/m² Output for Homes with Low Load Supplies

Systems such as Total-16 and Tectora feature diffusion plates in which to install the heating pipe. These plates evenly spread heat across the entire floor surface. Castellated Mat Bathrooms are the perfect room to heat with a floor heating system and you can install a Warmup system in just this one room of your home or in multiple rooms. Bathrooms and wet rooms are frequently the smallest room in the home and feature little wall space for traditional radiators, so a discreet floor heater installed under the floor finish will provide radiant heat with no visible pipework. Cold wall and floor tiles are also often used in bathrooms and floor heating will make sure your cold floors are perfectly warm to the touch after every refreshing shower. The low running costs of UFH can also help save you money on your bathroom energy bills too. Heating cables provide a flexible electric underfloor heating solution for irregular-shaped rooms or rooms featuring many fixed objects. The Nexxa Panel System uses a castellated membrane on which to position the heating pipe in an optimal layout design. Rails To work out which system is best for your project, consider the room type, the size of the project and whether you will be installing a heater into a new-build or retrofitting into an older property.

The Loose Wire System (DWSWire System) is an incredibly flexible and durable cable that can easily be maneuvered around fixings. Loose Wire comes in a minimum heat output of 150W/m² but it’s variable depending on the spacing. The Loose Wire system can be bought as an electric underfloor heating kit that contains all the essential elements for it’s installation; the heating cable, primer, tape, roller and the installation manual. What is the Best System to Install?

If you or your installer note that the system is not operating correctly at the installation stage, you are covered by Warmup’s SafetyNet™ installation guarantee under which any Warmup product damaged can be replaced to for free (see your warranty for details on this). Getting help with your underfloor heating system Should a fault develop after installing your new heating system, we’re here to help. For immediate troubleshooting advice, you may be able to find everything you need on our Warmup Support online portal. Here you’ll be able to view informative technical support for many of our products. Our water underfloor heating systems are available as either a ‘dry’ or ‘wet’ installation type. Systems such as the Clypso and Nexxa Panel require being installed within a layer of concrete screed. A ‘dry’ option for a hydronic system installation would be the Eccona Joisted Floor System, which can be installed without the need for screed and features aluminium diffusion plates for great heat distribution. Clips Electric systems offer rapid installation times, have low-profile system dimensions and can be used in almost all project types. Electric floor heaters are available as either a Heating Mat system or a Heating Wire system.

Please Note: The following is intended as a guide only. Always refer to the full installation manual for instructions. Underfloor heating is known for its reliability, with little-to-no maintenance required. However, as with all technology, errors can occur – whether these happen as part of the installation process or whilst in operation. We’ve put together this guide to explain how your floor heating system can be tested to ensure it performs at its best and how potential underfloor heating problems can be easily fixed. You’ll learn more about: Warmup heating cables and Loose Wire systems come without a membrane and are specifically designed for areas where you have many fittings to work around or irregularly shaped rooms when installing underfloor heating. Loose Wire System The membrane of the DCM-PRO Heated Decoupling System features a unique castellation design for the heating wire to be positioned into using just your hands. Tape

Installation and Floor Build-up

Divide the floor into a series of rectangles. From these measurements you can calculate how many mats you'll need and what sizes. Exclude permanent or static fixtures from your calculations.

Some hydronic systems such as the Clypso System, utilise clips which secure the heating pipes to the layer of insulation, keeping them in their precise position. Aluminium Diffusion Plates

Compatible With All Floor Coverings

Early Start function learns how long it takes to heat your room so it's up to temperature at the time you set If you do find yourself in the position of needing an engineer to visit your home to assess a problem with your heating system, there are ways of finding out where the fault is without having to lift the entire floor. We can detect a faulty heater by using a thermal imaging camera and specialist testing equipment which is used to locate the exact point of fault. The damaged cable or pipe is then accessed by lifting the floor for that area only and fixing the damaged part. This means that you can have complete confidence in our system and that there is minimal damage to your flooring should a repair be necessary. You will need to install an RCD fused spur which powers the thermostatic controller/programmer and the matting system heating element network. Lay the temperature probe from the timer-thermostat onto the floor, equidistant between two of the cable loops, and attach it to the floor surface. Now take the unheated power supply cable from the end of the matting system, which should be positioned near the thermostat. Once all the connections have been made to the power supply, run the heater(s) to ensure they are heating up (no more than 10 minutes).
