The timeline at the bottom allows you to control lighting animation effects similar to a video editor. Of course, one is to power your USB passthrough (located in the top right corner), but it's still worth considering if you're running low on free connections. Your preference—plush versus plastic—may vary; personally, I prefer the Logitech G513's pillow-like escape from the hard surface of my desk.

With the G513, Logitech has made many improvements to the keyboard and I am happy to say that the new G513 is an almost perfect keyboard. Note: We didn't experience any issues with this keyboard's backlighting during testing, but we've received community feedback indicating that the Blue LED lights on this keyboard may tend to fail sooner than other colors.

On the other hand, the Pyro has onboard memory, but the ROCCAT Swarm software is only available on Windows. The Logitech Gaming Software can be used for managing all Logitech accessories, such as mice, keyboards, and headsets.It also has much better ergonomics because it offers two incline settings and includes a wrist rest. The SynchroCycles effect animates Tron light cycles from opposite sides of the keyboard until they collide. However, the volume of reports online from other users may indicate this issue is more commonly experienced with this keyboard for unknown reasons.
